July 13th

I was seriously hoping for a little niece today... but no such luck... :( Baby Micah needs to come now!

Anyway... on with my day:

Breakfast: Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Snack.... didn't have one
Lunch: McAlister's - 1/2 Turkey Sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, 1/2 cookie, and their awesome sweet tea!
Snack.... nope
Dinner: Mac & Cheese, chips, skinny cow bar

And I think I'm going to have a plum now... or some strawberries... i'll let you know later....

July 12th

Today was such a good day... I had the whole day off!!

Breakfast: Pancake with Dark Chocolate chips
Snack: Banana
Workout: 40 min on the bike
Snack: Resse Whip... great candy bar.... probably not good for you though
Lunch: 1/2 grilled turkey and cheese sandwich, chips, plum, and skinny cow bar
Snack: granola bar
dinner: Smart Ones Pizza sandwich thing, and more chips.... wow... i really can't remember what i had with that
Dessert: smart ones chocolate chip cookie dough sundae...

Overall I think it was a pretty good day for me...

July 10th & 11th

Hi again... so even with internet I still forget to update everyday.... let's start with yesterday...

Breakfast: Peanut butter Captain Crunch
Snack: Granola Bar
Lunch: Turkey Sandwich, chips, carrots.... i think that was it
Dinner: Red Robin.. .I had a blackened chicken sandwich, with chipolte mayo (on the side)... and of course I had to have their french fries
Dessert: Jeremy brought home this amazing dessert from Carrabba's... it was this delicious chocolate cake thing... so good....
Exercise... didn't happen... Jeremy and I went out right after I got off work

Today...

Breakfast: Cinnamon Pecan Special K
Lunch: 2 baked potatoes with some shredded cheese
Snack: Granola bar
Dinner: Turkey sandwich, chips, crackers with peanut butter, plum, and banana
Snack: Skinny Cow - Skinny Dipper... it's soooo good!

Starting Over

No it's not the fact that I did horribly bad this past week... which i just did okay... but we finally have internet! Which means I can come home and get on my computer and make posts... even though I'm not sure who all reads this....

So here we go... The past week has gone pretty well, I did lose 1 pound! Whoo-hoo! I am starting to feel so much better about my body already and I have been enjoying eating better!

Today:
Breakfast - Special K Cinnamon Pecan & Glass of Milk
Snack - Half of a granola bar
Lunch - PB & J, other half of the granola bar, strawberries with yogurt, three mini york peppermint patties
Snack - Some carrots on the way to the gym
Exercise - Weights approx. 25 min; Cardio 30 min (bike)
Dinner - Turkey Sandwich, harvest cheddar sunchips, and I think I am going to have some more yogurt...

and probably another peppermint patty... i am becoming addicted

July 1st & July 2nd... Days 2 & 3

Okay, so I missed yesterday's post... Jeremy and I don't actually have internet til next week, so I can't really post on a consistent basis right now...

July 1st

Breakfast: Special K Cinnamon Pecan & a banana

Snack.... didn't get one...

Lunch: Tuna sandwich, a few whole wheat crackers, a plum, and a granola bar

Snack.... banana on the way to the gym

Workout: well yesterday was my first free personal training session that i got with the gym membership, it was basically just a fitness assessment of this is what you look like now, if you set goals for yourself this is what you could look like in 2 months.

So here is my two month goal: resistance (weights) 3 days a week, cardio 5 days a week (harder on Tues/Thur when I don't lift), focus on my nutrition 5 days a week (I get two cheat days!), and take my multivitamin everyday!

If I stick to this I will hopefully lose 15 pounds and take my percent body fat from 24% to around 18%.

Dinner: I attempted to make mac & cheese... but I believe it or not I actually messed it up, I don't know if I didn't let the water boil long enough or what, but it was mushy and disgusting! So I went to Target to find something for dinner and bought a box of MorningStar Corndogs (they are like veggie corndogs, very good). And i had two of those for dinner....

oh yea... and I did pick up a Butterfinger at Target too.... it was soooooo good!

July 2nd Day 3

Today started off again with Special K for breakfast....

Snack: plum and three whole wheat crackers with peanut butter

Lunch: mini can of spaghettios... they are the best, but i can only find the mini cans at walmart, banana, half a package of trailmix, a few more crackers with peanut butter

Snack: granola bar on the way to the gym

Exercise: did some weights for about 25 minutes... squats, lunge with a bicep curl, hip abductor and adductor machine, leg curls, leg press, chest press, and shoulder press, then i did the elliptical for 20 minutes, and i went hard for 20 minutes just under 3 miles & 200 calories

Dinner: well I haven't actually ate yet... but I plan on eating two more corn dogs, some cheeze-its, and maybe some ice cream tonight

that's all the update I've got for ya... tomorrow I get to go to the Zoo with Damon, Mandy, and Solomon! I am supper pumped! Definitely I will have a cheat day tomorrow :)

June 30th.... Day 1

So a couple weeks ago I found out that someone close to me could have the potential for health problems in the future if they do not start exercising, watching what they eat, and taking care of their body, hopefully this will encourage this person because I LOVE THEM!

It inspired me to start an accountability blog online for myself... I want to live a healthy lifestyle and enjoy life to the fullest! I realize that not all the foods that I eat are healthy, but it's all about portion control and eating what you enjoy! I also joined a gym last week to help me get on a regular exercise routine!

So what is this blog about... well starting today I am going to make known to the world (or at least my friends and family) what I am eating, my weight loss goals, my daily exercise routine, and whatever else I feel like writing down!

I feel that if I have to post what I eat then I might want to start eating a little better!

So here we go: Monday June 30th

Starting weight: 153

Breakfast: 3/4 cup Cinnamon Pecan Special K with 1/2 Skim Milk and 1 cup of skim milk to drink

Snack: Peanut Butter Chip Quaker Granola Bar & a plum

Lunch: a little bit of Yogurt with some granola, a banana, and a BBQ Chicken Hot Pocket (so amazing!!!)

Exercise: 30 Minutes on the tredmill... 3 min walk/2 min run (7.0) then 4 min walk/1 min run (7.5), repeat 3 times

Dinner: Tuna salad sandwich on toasted bread with 2 pickle spears, one package of quaker mini delights (peanut butter), cookies & cream Quaker granola bar

Snack: 1/2 cup of Mint Cookies & Cream ice cream (Eddy's..... sooooo good!)


I won't be counting calories really... and i probably won't get into the habit of measuring my food... just being cautious...
